We've made some changes behind the scenes in our fulfillment process, and the result is more efficient order processing for our customers. Effective immediately, all orders for in-stock merchandise will ship within 24 hours of the time the order was placed (except on weekends of course). You're used to this kind of service from big online retailers like Amazon.com, and we're answering that expectation with improved service of our own.
Speaking of Amazon.com, most of you know that Open Texture has matched Amazon.com's Free Shipping policy for several years now ... if you order $25 or more in merchandise, we'll ship it for free within the Continental United States. We're happy to continue this service. However, orders placed with Free Shipping may take 1-2 business days longer to process than orders placed with any other method. Since Free Shipping mails out media rate anyway, you shouldn't notice any difference.
But for those of you who need your products as soon as possible, know that our new 24 hour order fulfillment should cut a day on average off Ground and Express orders. Orders placed before 1pm Eastern Time usually ship out the very same day, so an Overnight order placed by midday ET should arrive the very next day.
