Open Texture is delighted to announce Elementary Greek, a new Koine Greek curriculum by Christine Gatchell. Designed to be used as a full course for teaching children as young as 2nd or 3rd grade, Elementary Greek may also serve as a self-teaching program for teens and adults. No previous knowledge is necessary and each concept is covered thoroughly and reviewed regularly throughout the course.
Year one of this three-year curriculum will be ready to ship this August, in time for the fall start of the 2005 - 2006 school calendar year. Available resources will include a non-consumable textbook, student workbook, audio CD companion for pronunciation and listening, and flashcards. As with all our products, Elementary Greek was subject to the highest production standards. You'll find high-quality paper, immaculate and intuitive design, and thoughtful attention to detail throughout. Years two and three will be available in 2006.
Koine is a wonderful way to introduce your children or yourself to both New Testament Greek and Classical Greek. A must for classical and christian homeschoolers, classical educators, and well-educated families in general.
